Hey, this is James with Tuxedo Yard Care. I’m out here in Layton today and I want to talk to you about backflow prevention devices for just a moment. There’s one sitting back here right behind me. They don’t all look like this. There’s lots of different types and varieties out there. The important thing is, is that you have one. If you have a secondary irrigation system, this isn’t something you need to worry about. But if you have culinary water, meaning your sprinkler system is run off of your house water, you do need to have one of these installed on your system. So make sure that you’ve got one, that’s the most important thing. You don’t want to be responsible for contaminating the city’s water supply, or get fined or anything like that. So once you’ve got one, then you just need to make sure that it gets tested once per year to make sure that it’s working properly and that you’re staying compliant. At tuxedo yard care.
